All safeguarding practices are taken seriously and embedded into every class, workshop, and interaction.

Qualified & Trusted Staff

All staff are DBS checked

  • Safeguarding awareness is a core part of staff training

  • Staff are supervised and follow clear professional conduct guidelines

  • A designated safeguarding lead is in place

We maintain high standards of professionalism at all times.

Safe Environment for All Students

We promote a culture of:

  • Clear boundaries and structured sessions

Any unsafe or disruptive behaviour is addressed promptly and professionally.

Medical & Emergency Information

To ensure every child’s safety:

  • Parents must provide accurate medical and emergency contact information before participation

  • Any allergies, conditions, or additional needs must be clearly disclosed

  • This information is securely stored and only used for safety and communication purposes

Drop-Off & Collection

  • Students should arrive on time and be collected promptly

  • Clear arrangements are in place to ensure safe handover

  • Younger students are supervised appropriately

Health & Safety in Every Session

We actively manage safety across all venues and sessions, including:

  • First aid kits available at every class

  • Trained staff are able to administer basic first aid

  • Clear accident and incident reporting procedures

  • Regular safety checks of spaces and equipment

  • Supervised activities at all times

As outlined in our risk assessment, we identify and manage potential risks, including:

  • Drop-off and pick-up safety

  • Safe use of equipment

  • Prevention of slips, trips, and injuries

  • Supervision in shared spaces

  • Emergency procedures such as fire evacuation

Photography & Media Use

We may take photos or videos during sessions to celebrate student progress and promote HSPA.

  • Permission is always requested in advance

  • Parents can opt out at any time

  • No child will be featured without consent
